Mohammad Suleman produced a brilliant unbeaten century as Pakistan Greens stormed into the National Champions Cup final with a crushing 192-run victory over Pakistan Blues at Multan Cricket Stadium.
Batting first after winning the toss, Pakistan Greens posted an imposing 302 for six in their allotted 50 overs. Suleman anchored the innings with a superb 101 not out from 103 balls, while Saad Baig provided strong support with a valuable 77.
Suleman remained composed throughout his innings, reaching his half-century from 52 deliveries before accelerating in the latter stages. His century provided the foundation for Greens to cross the 300-run mark and put Blues under immense pressure.
Pakistan Blues’ chase quickly fell apart as the Greens’ bowlers struck regularly. Blues lost four wickets during the PowerPlay and never recovered from the early collapse. They were eventually bowled out for just 110 in 23.5 overs, handing Greens a massive 192-run victory.
The win was Pakistan Greens’ third consecutive victory in the tournament and confirmed their place in the final. Suleman’s outstanding performance also earned him Player of the Match honours.
With their batting firing and bowling unit delivering a dominant display, Pakistan Greens have emerged as strong contenders for the National Champions Cup title. The final is scheduled for August 18 at Multan Cricket Stadium, where Greens will face Pakistan Gold.
